What YT1s does
YT1s is a free online tool for saving YouTube videos. You paste a link, and we show the video as MP4 files and the sound as MP3, ready to download to your phone, tablet or computer.
How it works
- Copy a video link from YouTube.
- Paste it into the box on our home page.
- Choose MP4 or MP3, pick a quality and tap Get.
The whole download happens on one page. You don't need an account, and there is no software to install.
Formats and limits
Video comes as MP4 in 144p, 240p, 360p, 480p, 720p or 1080p, depending on the original video. Audio comes as MP3 at 320, 256 or 128 kbps. Each file can be up to 2 GB, and only public videos can be saved.
Like any online service, YT1s can sometimes be slow or unavailable for a short time.
Made for phones
Most people use YT1s on a phone, so the page is built for small screens first: big buttons, a paste button and download buttons that are easy to tap. It works just as well on a tablet or a computer.
